Federico Fanti is a global creative leader with over two decades of experience spanning Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. With an illustrious career as an Executive Creative Director, Federico has steered campaigns for industry titans such as Barilla, Coca Cola, J&J, P&G, Snickers, Pepsi, and Walls, earning him a staggering 300+ creative awards.

 

His hallmark lies in fostering deep client relationships and crafting seamlessly integrated campaigns that captivate audiences worldwide. Federico's journey has been adorned with accolades from prestigious platforms like Cannes, Epica, D&AD, LIA, CLIO, Eurobest, One Show, Spikes, Lynx, and the New York Festival, among others. Notably, his tenure in Russia saw him clinch the country's first-ever Cannes Lion, propelling Young & Rubicam Moscow to become the most awarded agency in Russia.

 

Venturing into Manila with BBDO Guerrero, Federico expanded his global footprint, leaving an indelible mark on brands like Cornetto. His prowess was duly recognized when he was named among the top 10 Executive Creative Directors worldwide by Best Ads Creative Ranking in 2020.

 

Transitioning to FP7McCann MENAT as Chief Creative Officer in 2022, Federico orchestrated a meteoric rise, propelling the agency to the pinnacle of creativity in the Middle East. Under his stewardship, FP7McCann MENAT secured 18 Lions in just two years, including the coveted Grand Prix Lion, alongside a plethora of victories at esteemed regional and international shows.

Despite all the many achievements during his career, Federico defines himself a very fortunate one, “I had the privilege to work with the best talents of the industry. Federico’s mantra? ”Instinct, passion, and a bit of stupidity. Be unapologetically stupid to make your work better. Every 10 stupid ideas will give you 1 amazing one. So don’t be afraid of being stupid. You need to go through being stupid to come up with something seriously smart.”

 

Federico is also a photographer (his work has been featured in 3 personal photographic exhibitions) and a Design & Art Direction Professor (Italy: taught at IED University, at Milan Catholic University and at Milan Politecnico University; Russia: taught at British School of Design in Moscow).


During his journey in the advertising industry, Federico have also had the honor to be part of national and international juries such as: Cannes Lions, ADCI (Art Directors Club Italy),ADCR( Art Directors Club Russia),Andy’s, Loeries, ADCE (Art Directors Club Europe),Tambuli award,Ad Black Sea festival,Red Apple festival, New York Festival, Adfest Asia, YDA (Young Directors Award) and Boomerang Award.
